Frame Straightening in Highland Park, Measured Point by Point
A hard stop on the Dallas North Tollway can shift a structure in ways no one sees from the outside. We find those shifts with instruments and correct them to the maker's numbers.

A modern luxury car rides on a unibody: one engineered shell where the sills, rails, roof bows and pillars all carry load together. When an impact moves that shell even slightly, steering feel, tire wear and the timing of airbag deployment can all be affected. Our first task is to measure, using an electronic system that compares dozens of reference points with the maker's published dimensions. Only then is a pulling plan written. Several European makers forbid straightening certain aluminum or ultra-high-strength parts and require replacement instead, and we follow those rules without exception. The goal is a structure that sits exactly where the engineers intended, with documentation that you and your adjuster can both review.
Elements of a Structural Repair
Structural work is precise and methodical. These are the components we bring to it.
Electronic reference-point mapping
Sensors placed at the maker's reference points report the position of the structure in three dimensions. Deviations are logged before any force is applied.
Pull plans drawn from the data
Each pull is planned to reverse the direction of the original impact. Small, monitored corrections are preferred to large, forceful ones.
Clamping at sanctioned locations
The car is secured only at the clamping points the maker designates. Clamping elsewhere can distort sills or crush aluminum sections.
Heat used only where permitted
Some steels may be relieved with controlled heat and others must stay cold. We follow the maker's guidance for each material to keep its strength intact.
Renewal when straightening is off the table
Parts the maker classifies as replace-only are removed and renewed with the specified joining method. Sectioning happens only at the locations the procedures identify.
Rivet bonding and structural adhesive
Aluminum structures often call for self-piercing rivets paired with adhesive. Those operations use the specified rivets, adhesive and cure conditions.
Strut tower and subframe verification
Strut towers and subframe mounts are measured because they govern wheel position. A structure that is square at the rails but off at the towers is not finished.
Arrival and release measurement reports
You receive printed reports showing the structure as it arrived and as it left. Those records are useful for your insurer and any future buyer.
The Structural Repair Sequence
- 01
Measure and document
After a visual inspection, the car is mounted to the straightening bench and measured electronically. The readings are compared with the maker's specifications and saved as a baseline. We review the findings with you and share them with your insurer.
- 02
Pull, read, then pull again
Pulls are applied gradually while the measuring system reports movement as it happens. Parts that may not be straightened are replaced using the specified joining methods. Each stage is verified before the next begins.
- 03
Confirm and align
A final measurement confirms every reference point is within tolerance. A four-wheel alignment follows, then sensor calibration if any were affected. Steering feel and tracking are checked on the road before the car is returned to you.
Why Structural Work Belongs With Us
Instruments decide, not instinct
Every correction is measured and recorded. That record removes guesswork and gives you evidence of the repair.
Respect for engineered materials
Aluminum and advanced steels lose strength when mistreated. We follow the maker's rules on heat, sectioning and joining for each one.
Safety systems considered from the start
Airbag sensors and driver-assistance hardware rely on a true structure. We plan the repair with those systems in mind from the first measurement.
Know Where Your Structure Stands
If the car pulls, sits unevenly or simply feels different since the impact, the structure deserves a proper measurement. A brief phone conversation is all it takes to arrange one.
